The Charlatans have given an impromptu performance at Manchester Piccadilly train station – check out the footage below. Police in Greater Manchester plan to use artificial intelligence roadside cameras to detect people scrolling and messaging on phones while driving. The force say the ‘spy in the sky’ technology will not only be able to spot those with a phone to their ear but those using handsets lower down in the vehicle.

A sprawling adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ classic novel, the English-language series is produced by Mediawan’s banner Palomar, the leading Italian company behind “Inspector Montalbano” and “The Name of the Rose,” in collaboration with another Mediawan label, France’s DEMD Productions.

More tributes have been shared after it was announced that Imelda Mounfield, the wife of Stone Roses’ bassist Mani, died at the age of 52 - including a heartfelt performance from one of the band's tribute acts.

The Stone Roses bassist Mani, has died, with Ian Brown paying tribute to her online. The singer posted a photograph of Imelda and Mani together, adding: “RiP @imeldamounfield GOD BLESS MANI and his boys X”.
