The Black Lives Matter demonstration on Sunday afternoon was organised after George Floyd died while being detained by officers in Minneapolis.
Protesters, who marched along Market Street, St Ann's Square and Peter Street, could be heard chanting 'black lives matter'. Many held placards bearing the same slogan.
