Facebook has teamed with the British Academy to live-stream the pre-show of this Sunday's BAFTA film awards ceremony from the Royal Albert Hall in London.The production — entitled The EEBAFTAs Red Carpet Facebook Get Together— will be hosted byVick Hope, Jack Howard, Nush Cope and Tyler West, using both in-studio and on-carpet segments, as well as interactive audience integration.Streaming Feb. 2.

Ethan Hawke will direct and adapt “Camino Real,” Tennessee Williams’ wildly experimental play, into a feature film. Uri Singer, who worked with Hawke on the upcoming Sundance Film Festival entry “Tesla,” will produce and finance the picture through his company, Passage Pictures.

Six months after killed off one of its beloved characters, Hulu's top boss is defending the controversial decision.

Early in its life, Hulu found huge success in acquiring and promoting itself as the home for old fare such as “Seinfeld” and “The Golden Girls.” But those classic libraries have become even more valuable for streaming services — Netflix paid at least $500 million to grab exclusive rights to “Seinfeld,” while soon-to-launch HBO Max will now share “Rick and Morty” with Hulu, while shows like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” will co-exist on both Hulu and NBCU’s new Peacock service.

Veronica Mars is heading back to TV limbo? After Hulu revived the fan-favorite series as a miniseries, which was also called the fourth season, there was talk the show would continue on Now, E! News has learned there are no plans for addition episodes—a fifth season—at this time. A source added, "Though in true Veronica Mars fashion—never say never!"
