Nelly Furtado and Jessie Ware have been announced as headliners for Mighty Hoopla festival 2024.A string of other names have been also announced on the line-up for the 2024 edition of the London festival, including Rita Ora, Kim Petras, Rachel Stevens, En Vogue, Eve, Louise, Alison Goldfrapp and Rebecca Black.Next year’s event takes place on June 1 and 2, 2024 at Brockwell Park in London. In 2010, writer and director Gareth Edwards blew away cinema-goers with his haunting science-fiction tale, Monsters. The film was made on a micro-budget, but managed to appear vastly more expensive. Edwards’ skills caught the eye of the studios and he was quickly hired to direct Godzilla. After that came Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Then came a quiet period for Edwards, but now he has returned with another science-fiction epic, The Creator. Whereas Godzilla and Rogue One were both based on pre-existing properties, The Creator sees Edwards get back to his basics.

The former Fugees singer, who is currently on tour around North America celebrating the 25th anniversary of her Grammy-winning debut solo album ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’, has had to cancel or postpone multiple shows due to an ongoing vocal injury. A concert in Philadelphia on October 22 had to be moved, while Hill was forced to cancel an October 30 show in Fort Worth, Texas.
