Richard Ashcroft will be returning to his hometown of Wigan for a huge show next year.The former frontman of The Verve will play Robin Park on July 20, marking his first show in Wigan for over 25 years.“After 25 years, I’m back playing in my hometown. Looking forward to an amazing night in Wigan,” he said in a press release.The Wigan show won’t be the only large-scale Ashcroft plays next summer, however.

J Balvin has announced huge shows in London and Europe as part of his “Que Bueno Volver A Verte” 2024 world tour.The tour comes off the heels of the Spanish singer’s most recent Summer festival circuit where he headlined multiple sold-out shows in Paris, Spain, Switzerland, Singapore, Australia and many more.Kicking off on April 26 at Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany, Balvin will then go on to hit arenas across 20 European cities including Geneva, Zurich, Milan, Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Helinski, Kaunas, Cologne, Paris, Brussels, Esch, Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon. The tour will wrap up on June 5 in London at The O2 Arena.A ticket pre-sale will begin on Thursday, November 30th at 10am local time.

Metallica, The Prodigy, Avenged Sevenfold and more join the huge line-up.The headliners top the bill alongside the previously announced Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age, Royal Blood and Megadeth.Other new additions to the line-up include Machine Head, Steel Panther, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Suicidal Tendencies, Saxon, Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor, Enter Shikari, Body Count, Tom Morello and many more.The rock and metal festival is due to take place from June 27-30, 2024 in Clisson, France, where The Offspring, Simple Plan, Hot Milk, Wargasm, Dropkick Murphys, Babymetal, Nova Twins, The Interrupters and many more will play across six stages.Four-day passes for the festival are currently sold out, but one-day passes will be announced in early 2024 from here.Check out the full line-up below.
Avril Lavigne has announced some UK huge outdoor shows for next year, featuring support from Simple Plan.The pop-punk star and ‘00s icon is set to play two huge outdoor shows in the UK next year, each taking place over the summer and featuring the special guests.The first will be held at Cardiff Castle in Wales on July 2, and the second will take place the following day at the Castlefield Bowl venue in Manchester on July 3. Becky Hill has announced a series of new outdoor shows set to take place in the UK next year.All taking place across the summer, the new dates join a run of previously announced shows that the singer will be playing across the country including shows in Cork, Belfast and New Market.The gigs also come ahead of Hill’s long-awaited new album, which is set to arrive later in 2024.The first of the eight brand-new live performances will take place at Delamere Forest in Northwich on June 13, as part of the Forest Live series. From there, she will also be taking place in the 2024 edition of the Summer sessions – performing in both Derby on July 12 and Edinburgh on August 18.Other newly announced open-air shows lined up for this summer include shows at the Hardwick Hall in Sedgefield, the Alexandra Head in Cardiff, Open Air Theatre in Scarborough and Sheffield’s Don Valley Bowl.
