Hugh Hudson Dies: Oscar-Nominated ‘Chariots Of Fire’ Director Was 86

The film also catapulted his already-soaring reputation as a talent to watch, following his Emmy-nominated breakout role in Hulu’s “Normal People” in 2020.

Chloe Goodman's baby boy Hudson was hospitalised this week.The former Celebrity Big Brother and Ex on the Beach star, 29, shared the news with her 189,000 Instagram followers on Wednesday, capturing the little man asleep in two pictures before videoing their cute breakfast together. "Hospital for the night with my boy", Chloe wrote on a picture of her son, followed by a sad face. She later shared a picture of little Hudson lying down in a hospital cot as she comforted him by stroking his head as she put her hand through the bars.

Not the weightiest screen treatment of a serious mental health issue, this drolly self-deprecating portrayal nonetheless achieves a degree of poignancy and depth within a distinctive sensibility you might call Midwestern Sardonic. She then turns that alienating energy on her terrified dorm roommate (Taylor Marie Blim), who says, “You’re ruining my college experience!” The roomie has, it turns out, already informed Clem’s mother that she has spiraled into “hoarding, stealing, paranoia and shrieking.” Ergo Sherri (J. Smith-Cameron) bursts through the door, dragging her eldest child back to suburban Illinois not a moment too soon.

Broadway’s Jujamcyn Theaters and International Entertainment Holdings Limited, the parent company of Ambassador Theatre Group, have agreed to combine operations, bringing together two of the major players on Broadway and London’s West End.

Brent Lang Executive Editor Ambassador Theatre Group, which is a force on London’s West End, and Jujamcyn Theaters,a collection of Broadway theaters owned by impresario Jordan Roth, have agreed to combine operations.  Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed. The deal is subject to regulatory approval, according to a release, though those details were also left vague. Roth, who has become almost as well known for his fashion sense and social media presence as for his day job as a theater mogul, a will sit on the board as the largest individual shareholder of the combined group. He will also serve as its creative director. Mark Cornell, who currently heads up Ambassador Theatre Group, will serve as CEO of the combined companies.
