A huge fire at a Fife pub is being treated as deliberate, police have confirmed.
Firefighters scrambled to the Woodside Inn on Woodside Way, Glenrothes, at 7.40am on Friday, May 6.
Crews worked for over an hour to tackle the inferno before they were able to leave the scene at 9am.
Dramatic images from the incident show flames tearing through the boozer as smoke billowed across the Fife town.
There were no reported injuries as a result of the blaze.
Police Scotland have confirmed that they are treating the fire as wilful as enquiries into the ordeal remain ongoing.
Detectives are urging anybody with information to come forward.
Particularly, they are keen to speak to anybody who may have recorded the incident.
Detective Sergeant Alasdair Young said: “At 7.40am on Friday, May 6, police were made aware of a fire at a property in Woodside Way, Glenrothes.
"Officers attended and the fire is being treated as wilful.
"Enquiries are ongoing into this incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Woodside Way at the time who witnessed anything suspicious to contact us.
"I would also ask anyone with personal footage that may assist our ongoing enquiry to contact officers through 101 with reference 0556 of 6 May.
"Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
