Eyes will be on Serena Williams who will make her very last public outing on the tennis court this week after announcing her decision to retire from the sport earlier this month.
On the men’s side, Rafael Nadel will be seeking his 23rd Grand Slam title, becoming one of the biggest names to look out for this season in Djokovic and Federer’s absence. Eyes will also be on defending champions Emma Raducanu and Daniil Medvedev who saw a stunning tournament of upsets last year. The 2022 tournament runs from Aug.
29 through Sept. 11, with the women’s single finals set to take place on Sept. 10 and the men’s singles finals on Sept.

The 2022 Emmys have finally arrived — a night to celebrate the most talked about, written about and tweeted about shows of the year. This year, HBO’s “Succession” and Apple TV+’s “Ted Lasso” earned the most nominations of the year (25 and 20 nods, respectively), while Netflix’s “Squid Game” has already made history as the first non-English language series to compete in the best drama category. Other notable nominees include “The White Lotus,” which will likely dominate the limited series categories, and ABC’s freshman sitcom “Abbott Elementary,” whose anticipated success tonight will be notable as one of the few network shows being honored at the Emmys.
