Gennady Golovkin is back in the ring today against Ryota Murata in a middleweight title unification bout in Japan. The 40-year-old Golovkin retained his IBF and IBO titles with a victory over Kamil Szeremeta in 2020.
Golovkin is being widely tipped to fight rival Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez later this year, but first Murata stands in his way. The Japanese star represented his country at the 2012 Olympics in London.
The fight takes place on Saturday afternoon in Saitama. Here is everything you need to know including TV and live streaming details:

The fight takes place on Saturday, April 9 at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.
The main televised card gets underway at 11am BST, with ringwalks for the main event expected at around 2:10pm. Of course, that time is subject to change depending on the length of the undercard bouts.
