This year's John Lewis Christmas advert comes with a big range of merchandise, including ‘Snapper, The Perfect Tree.' The department store's festive advert is an exciting sign for many TV watchers that the festive season has finally begun.
The 2023 John Lewis story is titled ‘Snapper, The Perfect Tree’ and follows the boy as he lovingly nurtures the plant from a seed bought at a local market, in the belief he is cultivating a perfect Christmas tree. And as the advert and its characters start to become fondly known the more it is shown on TV, the more shoppers are going to want to become part of the experience.
The merchandise on offer seeks to do just that. The range, which will be on sale in John Lewis stores and online, includes a £18 plush plant, a £3 Christmas card with seeds and a £9.99 children’s story book.

Snapper will also feature on the Christmas at Kew light trail at the gardens this year. From December, an AR filter will allow Meta users to bring Snapper into their own homes, while a digital advent calendar on the John Lewis app will see Snapper reward myJL members with exclusive rewards.
