Meghan Markle, and it is…strange, to say the least. The royal family has been in the news a lot lately due to the death of last month.

Meghan Markle wanted to be “Queen Bee” when she was a working royal and didn't understand the "pace" of the palace, claims royal expert Katie Nicholl. Katie’s statement follows royal commentator Valentine Low writing in his new book that Meghan thought she would be the Beyoncé of the UK.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have returned to the site of their 2018 royal wedding. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen back in Windsor, England, on Monday amid the events surrounding thestate funeral, procession, and committal service for Queen Elizabeth II at St. George's Chapel. The funeral took place at Westminster Abbey in London, England, with Harry and Meghan seated behind his father, King Charles III, and stepmother, Camilla, the Queen Consort.

Meghan Markle was seen overcome with emotion as she joined members of the royal family at the State Funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey on Friday.The Duchess of Sussex was seen wiping a tear from her eye in emotional pictures as the procession left Westminster Abbey for Wellington Arch while members of the royal family watched on.The Queen Consort, the Duchess of Sussex, the Princess of Wales and the Countess of Wessex were seen looking sombre as the King and his siblings marched off. Prince George and Princess Charlotte stood in front of their mother, with George looking directly at the coffin as it passed.

Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle made a subtle tribute to the Queen with her choice of jewellery for the late monarch’s state funeral. People came from far and wide to attend Queen’s Elizabeth’s funeral at Westminster Abbey – including world leaders such as Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau. Harry and Meghan, who reside in America, travelled to the UK before the Queen’s passing and extended their trip as a result of her death, meaning they’ve been in the country for all of the monarch’s memorial services – including her funeral today.

Meghan Markle has joined the royal family at Westminster Abbey for a final farewell to the Queen.

The world will be watching. Queen Elizabeth II will be laid to rest alongside her late husband, Prince Philip, in St George’s Chapel during her funeral on Monday, September 19.

A not-so-united front. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not join the royal family to meet with world leaders ahead of Queen Elizabeth II‘s funeral on Sunday, September 18, after seemingly being uninvited.

The Prince Harry and Meghan Markle drama continued into the weekend as it wasn’t clear if the Sussexes would be attending a pre-funeral reception at Buckingham Palace on the eve of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who settled in California after stepping down as senior royals in 2020 – reportedly initially received an invitation to the Sunday evening reception, but conflicting reports said they were and weren’t expected to attend.  According to the Telegraph, they have now been uninvited because palace officials insisted that the reception hosted by King Charles III and Camilla, the queen consort, is only for working royals, which Harry and Meghan are not. A sartorial tribute. Meghan Markle honored the late Queen Elizabeth II with her jewelry choices while attending the royal family’s Westminster Hall service.

It’s an emotional day for the royal family. Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin was taken from Buckingham Palace on Wednesday and a procession including King Charles III, Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward took to the streets of London to bring it to Westminster Hall.
