‘Hostel’: Paul Giamatti To Star In Eli Roth’s TV Adaptation Of The Horror Franchise

Paul Heaton has announced his new Ian Broudie-produced album ‘The Mighty Several’ and has shared a new single ‘Fish ‘N’ Chip Supper’.‘The Mighty Several’ is set for release on October 11 – which is available for pre-order here – and follows his 2022 LP ‘N.K-pop‘ with Jacqui Abbott. The Housemartins and Beautiful South legend’s upcoming album was recorded at Blueprint Studios in Salford and was produced by Broudie of the Lightning Seeds.The album is comprised of 12 tracks, with some featuring special guests such as Rianne Downey (Heaton’s regular live vocalist), Yvonne Shelton and Danny Muldoon. The featured artists are all pictured alongside Heaton on the album’s artwork.

Ben Croll Stop-motion giant Henry Selick is back circling the Neil Gaiman adaptation “The Ocean at the End of the Lane,” confirming ongoing work with the English author alongside plans to make the project his next feature. The filmmaker holds Gaiman’s 2013 novel in high esteem – calling the book Gaiman’s crowning achievement – and envisions the film as a companion piece to the duo’s modern classic “Coraline,” describing the development title as “almost a sequel.” “Instead of a child going to this other world with a monstrous mother, it’s a monstrous mother who comes into our world to wreak havoc on a kid’s life,” he tells Variety.

Hostel is being adapted for a TV series.Per a Deadline Hollywood report, a TV series is in the works, even though a network or streaming platform have yet to be attached to the show. Eli Roth is due to return to direct and write for the upcoming series with Chris Briggs, who also co-wrote the 2005 film.Deadline Hollywood also reports that the TV series will be an “elevated thriller with Roth’s trademark kills” and “a modern reinvention of the horror franchise”.
