Paul Heaton has announced his new Ian Broudie-produced album ‘The Mighty Several’ and has shared a new single ‘Fish ‘N’ Chip Supper’.‘The Mighty Several’ is set for release on October 11 – which is available for pre-order here – and follows his 2022 LP ‘N.K-pop‘ with Jacqui Abbott. The Housemartins and Beautiful South legend’s upcoming album was recorded at Blueprint Studios in Salford and was produced by Broudie of the Lightning Seeds.The album is comprised of 12 tracks, with some featuring special guests such as Rianne Downey (Heaton’s regular live vocalist), Yvonne Shelton and Danny Muldoon. The featured artists are all pictured alongside Heaton on the album’s artwork.
The announcement of the new album comes a week prior to Heaton’s slated performance at the Pyramid Stage at this year’s edition of Glastonbury.Written by Heaton and guitarist Jonny Lexus, ‘Fish ‘N’ Chip Supper’ serves as the lead single of the album. The track features the anthemic chorus: “And we’re all walking back to our lovers / back to our husbands and wives / holding on to fish n chip suppers / and clinging on to dear life,” soundtracking the ups and downs of a relationship. 1. ‘National Treasure’

André 3000 has announced a new wave of tour dates for his recent experimental flute album ‘New Blue Sun’.The Outkast rapper recently dropped a surprise 87-minute long project in November last year, his first solo album in 17 years.Now following his US tour earlier this year, André 3000 has announced a fresh series of tours in the US, which will take place this autumn. Beginning in September, André will kick off in New Orleans’ Orpheum Theatre, visiting a host of new cities including Houston, Seattle, Vancouver and Salt Lake City.He will then conclude his new tour with a date in Atlanta’s Fox Theatre on November 14.
