This is the terrifying moment two men were blasted in a gangland drive-by shooting in broad daylight. A family of eight including five small children walked close by as the underworld spat spilled onto the streets on a Friday afternoon.
Shocking footage obtained by the Manchester Evening News reveals how the shooting unfolded in a busy area of Cheetham Hill. Two men were seriously hurt after being 'lured' out of the Godfather café.
The pair were blasted in the legs as four to five shots were fired from a passing Mercedes. The alleged gunman has fled the country, but three men stood trial at Manchester Crown Court.

Hazhar Anwar, 29, Danyal Ahmed, 24 were convicted of two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Ahsan Shabbir, 20, was acquitted of the same two charges. Anwar, Ahmed and Shabbir were also accused of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Anwar was found guilty, Shabbir was acquitted and jurors could not reach a verdict in Ahmed's case. Prosecutors allege that the gunman is Mr Shabbir's brother, named in court as Faizan Shabbir.
"The offence bore the hallmarks of gang rivalry, and this was an attempt to cause serious injury to others," prosecutor Alaric Bassano told jurors. The shooting took place at about 2.30pm on Friday, November 15, 2019. CCTV footage from the café on Copthall Lane shows the two victim in the cafe with a group of other men.
The Mercedes drove onto Copthall Lane before turning round towards Cheetham Hill Road, driving slowly past the café. The men in the café saw the car and went outside to pursue it on foot.
