's second season mystery is beginning to unravel. Amazon Prime Video dropped the first full-length trailer for the sophomore season of its critically acclaimed show, which will see Janelle Monae take over the leading role from Julia Roberts.

Amazon Prime Video just dropped the new trailer for the upcoming second season of Homecoming. The critically-acclaimed series returns for its second season with a fresh new mystery and an exciting new star, Janelle Monáe (Moonlight). Her character wakes in a rowboat adrift a lake, with no memory of how she got there — or even who she is. Her ensuing search for identity will lead her into the heart of the Geist Group, the unconventional wellness company behind the Homecoming Initiative.

On Wednesday, Amazon released the first teaser trailer for the new season, which introduces Monáe's character, Jackie, as she wakes up in a rowboat with no idea how she got there or who she is.
