Hollywood history was made last night as South Korean film Parasite became the first non-English-language movie to win the best picture Oscar.

Nine films have been nominated for Best Picture. This includes Parasite, 1917, Jo Jo Rabbit, Joker, Ford v Ferrari, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, Marriage Story and Little Women. While several bets are placed on Parasite taking home the Academy Award for Best Picture this year, there are also predictions that 1917 and Joker stand a chance to win the Best Picture award. It all comes down to this. On Sunday night, the 92nd Academy Awards will be held.

The Oscars 2020 is just round the corner and movie buffs have been waiting with bated breath to see who takes home the coveted award. The Best Picture category is an interesting mix of films, especially with the inclusion of a Korean film Parasite.
