Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter has opened up about her wedding plans after getting engaged to fiancé Oliver Piotrowski back in 2021. 36 year old Jorgie, who has recently opened up about the realities of juggling motherhood and work, spoke to OK! while at the BAFTA TV Awards in London on Sunday, 12 May and looked sensational as she sported a stunning white dress for the occasion. As she headed to the highly anticipated ceremony, the soap star wowed on the red carpet with her white gown which featured a sweetheart neckline, leaf detailing and dazzling tulle skirt.
To finish off the bridal-esque look, Jorgie wore her hair in a chic updo and opted for a nude lip and smokey eye.
Speaking about her gown of choice, the former Dancing On Ice contestant explained: “My dress is like a wedding dress isn’t it? I said to my fiance Oliver, when we get married - hint hint! I want it to be something like this. Got to get our wedding ideas in order, you know?” Jorgie’s latest wedding update comes after she shared further details with OK! in April ahead of her new ITVBe series Drama Queens. The actress, who shares one year old son Forest with Oliver, explained that viewers would be able to see some wedding planning on the show.
“The most enjoyable bit was the wedding part,” she said. “It begins on the show.
That is where we started the planning.” The star also added that she had originally hoped that Oliver might plan the wedding on her behalf and that she’d even trust him to find her a “good” wedding dress to wear. “I’ve always suggested that he does it all and he is like, ‘Absolutely not! I plan everything in our world, this is one thing that I’m not doing…’” she laughed.
