A heartbroken family have hit out after their beloved mother allegedly suffocated to death at a Scots hospital after her oxygen tube became detached.  Jean Wingate was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on November 1 after becoming breathless at her Glasgow home. The 76-year-old, who had COPD and diabetes, was diagnosed with pneumonia and later tested positive for coronavirus.
