It is no secret that The Batman has a star-studded line-up. Matt Reeves-directorial sees Robert Pattinson replacing Ben Affleck as the Cape Crusader. Stars like Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright and Andy Serkis are among the cast members. While the filming began earlier this year, the production came to a halt due to the Coronavirus outbreak. While it is obvious that the production schedule will change, there are rumours that Warner Bros could reschedule the release date of The Batman.

Rumour has it that the Pirates of the Caribbean star is being eyed for an interesting role in The Batman. DC fans are aware that the Robert Pattinson led movie has begun filming. The movie already boasts of a stellar star cast. 

The Batman, which will see Robert Pattinson play the role of the dark knight for the very first time, is already underway in its filming. A few weeks ago, fans were left spellbound by Robert's look test (cue screams for that impeccable jawline!), and now director Matt Reeves has got us excited one more time with another look. This time, we see Pattinson in his DC superhero avatar posing next to the Batmobile, which many feel is quite nostalgic to Adam West's Batman vehicles.

Robert Pattinson, 33, is the Batman we deserve! Fans got another look at the Twilight actor in his brand-new batsuit, ahead of the 2021 release of The Batman! Director Matt Reeves posted three pictures to Twitter on March 4, alongside a bat and a car emoji, giving DC fanatics their first peek at the iconic Batmobile — you can see the photos here. The updated vehicle looks to be a trumped-up muscle car, quite a change from the eccentric car designs that are expected from the franchise.

While Robert is rigorously training to match up to the brawn of the Caped Crusader, The Batman is jam-packed with star power. This includes Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell and John Turturro in pivotal roles. Furthermore, The Batman will focus heavily on the detective side to Bruce Wayne's alter-ego, as seen in the DC comics.

When I first heard Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson was going to play Batman, I was like, "Great, maybe I'll actually have a single shot at caring about the next Batman movie." But the first footage of our boy Robert in his new little superhero costume has arrived, and I'm here to say that dammit... I was right.
