Star Wars actor and dialect coach Andrew Jack has died of coronavirus complications at the age of 76.

The Batman director Matt Reeves has confirmed the much-anticipated comic book film has been put on hold indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Like several other productions, The Batman has also taken a massive hit amid the Coronavirus crisis. The DC movie sees Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz in the lead while Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright and Andy Serkis play crucial roles.

It is no secret that The Batman has a star-studded line-up. Matt Reeves-directorial sees Robert Pattinson replacing Ben Affleck as the Cape Crusader. Stars like Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright and Andy Serkis are among the cast members. While the filming began earlier this year, the production came to a halt due to the Coronavirus outbreak. While it is obvious that the production schedule will change, there are rumours that Warner Bros could reschedule the release date of The Batman. 

As concern continues to grow over the worldwide spread of COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus, many are taking proactive measures to keep themselves safe from the flu-like virus, which can be fatal in the most extreme cases.

Today, it’s the news that Matt Reeves’ The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/The Caped Crusader, has halted production.

Production has shut down on the set of The Batman for the next two weeks amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Warner Bros. has confirmed (via Deadline) that the production of The Batman, which is now shooting, has been put on hold for two weeks due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. The film had been shooting in London with Matt Reeves at the helm of the highly anticipated movie with Robert Pattinson playing the title role of Batman/ Bruce Wayne.

Warner Brothers Studio is jam-packed with several big-ticket films in the pipeline. Amongst the 2021 releases, we have the eagerly awaited Matt Reeves directorial, The Batman, which will see Robert Pattinson take on the reigns from Ben Affleck as the new Dark Knight of Gotham City.

While Warner Bros isn't letting any details about the plot out, The Batman actor Jeffrey Wright has spilled a few beans about the new DCEU movie. For the unversed, Wright has been roped in to play Commissioner Gordon in the movie. While we await his first look from the movie, the actor recently revealed a few interesting insights into Reeves' The Batman.

While we keep an eye out on that front, new speculation is doing the rounds about his professional life. Rumour has it that the Pirates of the Caribbean star is being eyed for an interesting role in The Batman. DC fans are aware that the Robert Pattinson led movie has begun filming. The movie already boasts of a stellar star cast.

The Batman, which will see Robert Pattinson play the role of the dark knight for the very first time, is already underway in its filming. A few weeks ago, fans were left spellbound by Robert's look test (cue screams for that impeccable jawline!), and now director Matt Reeves has got us excited one more time with another look. This time, we see Pattinson in his DC superhero avatar posing next to the Batmobile, which many feel is quite nostalgic to Adam West's Batman vehicles.
