Fans of the One Chicago franchise will have to wait a while for new episodes.
Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D. will not be returning with new episodes until May 2023, so you’ll have to watch repeats for the next three weeks.
An NBC rep has spoken out about the reason for the month-long break in new episodes.

“This is normal scheduling for the Chicago shows,” the rep told TVLine. “You need a balance of original and encore episodes so that the season can run from September through May.”
The shows will return with new episodes on May 3 and they will all have new episodes for four consecutive weeks, ending in the season finales on May 24.
Repeats will air on April 12 and April 19. On April 26, NBC will air the two-hour Carol Burnett birthday special followed by a Chicago PD rerun.
