Elizabeth Wagmeister Senior Correspondent Cate Blanchett debuted her latest acting role in “The New Boy” at the Cannes Film Festival this week, but the Oscar-winner wouldn’t mind staying behind the camera a bit more. “I’m always trying to get out of acting,” Blanchett said. “I’ve been trying to stop acting my entire professional life.” Speaking at her Kering Women in Motion talk at Cannes, in conversation with her producing partner, Coco Francini, Blanchett said that her recent producing work behind the camera “feels an extension, for me, of my work as an actor.” “I remember an Australian film director saying to me really early on in my career that I had to stop taking small roles,” Blanchett recalled. “And I said, ‘Why?’ I said, ‘That was the most interesting role.’ I didn’t want to play the lead. I want that one.”

Who Do You Think You Are? with a list of star-studded guests set to appear in the show. The popular genealogy programme will appear on screens once more on June 1st on BBC One and follow nine celebrities on their extremely personal journeys. Each celeb will delve into unknown family ancestry and unearth startling facts and truths about their heritage as part of series 20 of the show.

Myleene Klass has been revealed as the winner of I'm A Celebrity South Africa. MasterChef Australia‘s new season has been rescheduled to launch on Sunday (May 7) evening following the death of judge Jock Zonfrillo.

Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief Jock Zonfrillo, the colorful and controversial chef and TV personality who died suddenly on Sunday, is to be honored on air with twin broadcasts this weekend on Australia’s Network Ten#. A new season of “MasterChef,” the reality TV show on which Zonfrillo was a judge, will now launch on Sunday evening, the broadcaster said on Wednesday. The show was due to have begun airing on Monday, but transmission was postponed as news of Zonfrillo’s sudden death was digested by the industry and public. The network said that it had the Zonfrillo family’s blessing for the move.
