Half of those surveyed said that they had a positive perception of artificial intelligence and would be willing to offer their music for the training of AI models.Around a third said they were interested in using AI as part of their music-making process, with a similar amount reckoning AI technologies could help them with their marketing and promotion.Commenting on the study, TuneCore CEO Andreea Gleeson says: “As AI continues to be a conversation topic across creative industries, we sought to engage directly with independent artists to determine their awareness of AI and how they’re most interested in engaging with it”.“TuneCore’s main priorities lie in the interests of our artists”, she adds, “so the responses to this survey will help us enable them to utilise AI on our platform with consent, control, transparency, and fair monetary compensation”.Of those surveyed, 35% said that they are interested in using AI in their creative process, while 31% said it could help with marketing and promotion around releases.Meanwhile, 18% said they might use AI technologies to create promotional content – including videos to post to TikTok and Instagram – while 16% said they were interested in how AI could help them more generally engage and develop their fanbases.In terms of allowing tech companies to use their creative output in order to train generative AI models, 50% showed a willingness to allow that to happen.

Set to throbbing beats from David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, “Here Lies Love” centers on the Philippines’ controversial former First Lady, Imelda Marcos. The idea was to make the show as immersive as possible and turn a Midtown Manhattan theater into a disco ballroom.

Or, at least, it has been transformed into a reasonable facsimile of one, with the audience on the floor standing, shifting and swaying, and occasionally even dancing, in an immersive experience the likes of which Broadway has rarely if ever seen.

Jo Koy has nothing but love for his ex, Chelsea Handler. spoke to Koy at the David Byrne/Fatboy Slim musical, , where he gushed over the comedienne. «She's a beautiful person, and, you know, we're still friends,» Koy, who serves as one of the producers on the Broadway production told the outlet Thursday. «It was a beautiful time,» he added of their nearly year-long relationship, «And she's doing beautiful things right now. She's crushing it right now, so I have nothing but the best love for her.»Handler and Koy — who worked together years ago on the comedian's late-night show,  -- made their relationship Instagram official in September 2021 and dated until June 2022, splitting just ahead of their one-year anniversary.Handler opened up about the end of their relationship in December, during an appearance on Brooke Shields's  podcast.«Towards the end of the relationship, it just became clear that this was not my person,» she told the model actress.As far as what exactly happened to end the relationship, Handler kept things fairly vague, but admitted, «walking away from him was one of the most difficult things that I ever had to do.»«There were just some behaviors that we couldn't agree on, and it felt to me like I would have to abandon myself -- which maybe I would have been OK to do if I were 20 or 25 -- but I wasn't willing to do that,» she recalled.

Here Lies Love (★★★★★) works so well. Patrons expecting the ambiance of a standard theater will be shocked to see the major transformation that has occurred at the Broadway Theater, which for 10 years was home to both the original production and revival of Miss Saigon.Gone are the plush crimson-red orchestra seats.

Disco despotism isn’t exactly a new genre – Cabaret hinted the way, Evita made it clear, American Psycho, in its fashion, added a variation, all in service of social horrors offset by catchy tunes – but Here Lies Love, the rambunctious new immersive musical from David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, pushes the concept to an extreme that likely won’t be matched until someone has the bright idea to transform Party Monster into The Michael Alig Musical.
