The Academy Award nominations were announced on Monday, with some of the most diverse nods in recent years. Accepting the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture gong for his performance as Black Panther Party chairman Fred Hampton, Kaluuya's connection failed as the audio didn't broadcast for a little while.
