Heinz has announced a new partnership with Morrisons that will see them offer thousands of free meals to help those affected by the cost of living crisis.
The popular food brand has launched the new "Just Ask For Henry" initiative that will see them giveaway over 160,000 free hot meals to those in need across Scotland during October.
Available from Wednesday, October 26, Scots can get a free jacket potato topped with Heinz's beloved Baked Beanz at multiple participating Morrisons Cafe's across the country. All customers need to do is simply 'ask for henry' at one of the participating supermarket branches, where they will be offered the free hot meal completely free of charge and no questions asked.
Heinz hopes the deal will be able to help out those who are struggling financially during October, including families with little ones.
The new nationwide initiative will be available in Morrisons Cafe's while stocks last and comes just as households have been battling rising costs on energy, food and petrol. Which is why Heinz decided to launch the offer in honour of the legacy and goodwill of its founder, Henry J Heinz, who aimed to help feed the nation when times were tough.
Jojo De Noronha, President Northern Europe at Heinz said:"October marks the birthday of a very special member of the Heinz family, our founder Henry J. Heinz. Henry brought comfort and goodness to others, not just through his food but his actions. We want to honour his good heart and kind spirit by doing what he did best, helping feed people in times of need - and that’s why we’re launching ‘ask for Henry’ with our partner Morrisons on 26th October.
"We believe everyone deserves the goodness, comfort and warmth a can of Heinz Beanz can bring, and whilst we
