Irish director Jim Sheridan is mourning the loss of his wife Fran after she suddenly passed away.
He is being comforted by family and friends after his beloved Fran died during the week at St Vincent’s hospital in Dublin.
The family is set to have a private funeral service on Monday.
The couple, who had been married for almost 50 years, had three daughters, Naomi, Kirsten and Tess, as well as grandchildren Leo, Seamus and Frankie.
