Halsey‘s new music is on the way.
Last week, the 27-year-old singer made headlines after they claimed that their record label was stopping the release of their new single, citing the need to creating a viral TikTok moment around the track.
Halsey subsequently posted a video about the situation on the app, which quickly went viral.
On Tuesday (May 31), Capitol Music announced that the performer’s new single “So Good” will come out next week and expressed their support for them.

“@halsey, we love you and are here to support you. We are committing to a release of ‘So Good’ on June 9th, 2022,” the label wrote on Twitter.
The label added in a statement: “We are an artist first company that encourages open dialogue. We have nothing but a desire to help each one of our artists succeed, and hope that we can continue to have these critical conversations.”
Halsey took to social media to celebrate the news, joking on Instagram that “if you have the internet you have probably heard that [I've] been trying to put this song out for a long time.”
“I didn’t expect so much conversation about this record, all I know is that I wanted you guys to hear it and now you can. So Good, song on June 9th and video the next day. Endy gave me my flowers,” they shared on Twitter, posting a series of photos that included a shot of the 10-month-old son Ender holding a bouquet of flowers.
Halsey clarified the situation with their label in a series of posts to Twitter last week, which you can see here.
