Sufjan Stevens has announced his new album ‘Reflections’ along with new single ‘Ekstasis’.The album is a studio recording of his score for the ballet by choreographer Justin Peck, and was performed by pianists Timo Andres and Conor Hanick. Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Tribeca Festival has announced the lineup of its 2023 festival, which includes new films from actors Chelsea Peretti and David Duchovny and documentaries about Rock Hudson and news anchor Dan Rather. This year’s event, which takes place from June 7-18, will feature 109 feature films from 127 filmmakers across 36 countries. There will be 93 world premieres, one international premiere, eight North American premieres, one U.S. premiere and six New York premieres. Among the lineup, there are offerings from 43 first-time directors and 29 directors returning to Tribeca with their latest projects. For the first time, more than half of feature films in competition (68%) are directed by women, while 41% (45) of all feature films are directed by women. Additionally, 36% (39) of feature films are directed by BIPOC filmmakers, including two indigenous filmmakers.

SZA has announced a string of new tour dates, spanning across the UK, Europe and North America.Having recently finished a series of sold-out tour dates, SZA has revived her ‘SOS’ tour with ten new performances in Europe and twenty-one dates in North America.The second leg of the tour will see the Grammy-winning R&B artist perform at arenas in Amsterdam, Paris, Zurich, Berlin and Cologne, before moving through the UK for four shows. This includes two consecutive nights at London’s O2 Arena.All European dates will take place throughout June and will end with one performance in Dublin’s 3Arena.

Turnstile have rescheduled their upcoming Brixton Academy gig in London and announced a new date in Manchester.The hardcore band announced their biggest UK gig to date in London last year, which was originally set for May 30.Now, the gig has been pushed back to August 15, with a new gig at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse now added for the following day. They will be the band’s only UK shows of 2023.Brixton Academy is set to remain closed until April following the fatal crowd crush at an Asake concert at the venue in December – with a number of gigs beyond that now being relocated, including the Turnstile show and a gig from Dublin’s Inhaler.After the venue’s licence was temporarily suspended until January 16, Lambeth Council said that they would meet again on that date to discuss the future of the venue.

"There was a scene that was very intense for Patti, and it was a shot that was on Patti, it was not on him and all of a sudden he fell out of frame," Aster said of Phoenix.
