High street giant H&M has sent shoppers wild with a pair of £24 pants people are calling 'perfect' for the summer. The pants, which take inspiration from the parachute pants of the 1980s, are proving a big hit with fans of the retail fashion chain.
H&M's voluminous cargo trousers come in a gorgeous olive green colour, and cost £24.99. The pants are currently in stock from sizes XS to XXL on the H&M website.
They can be dressed up or down with a bodysuit or strappy vest top. Add a pair of open-toe heeled mules if you're wearing in the evening, or wear with a pair of sandals in the day time (Birkenstock sandals would work well).

The trousers are made from a lightweight sustainable polyester, and feature a paperbag waist. They're voluminous, which means they'll keep you cool in the heat if you're not looking to show off your bare legs - or need to be covered for an event or for work.
An image of the pants was shared on Instagram, where shoppers quickly lapped them up.
