At some point in the last few months, it looked like Caroline Polachek was going viral. TikTok users rediscovered the choreography from the video for her 2019 song "So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings" and turned it into budding dance trend, with Charli XCX and even Polachek herself taking part.

Squeeze, the upcoming sophomore project from L.A.-based alt-rocker SASAMI, is gearing up to be a collection of exciting outliers. For example, the album's tracklist contains both the grinding nu-metal of "Say It" as well as "Sorry Entertainer," a demented garage rock-ified stomper with a prominent interpolation of the classic staple "Peter Gunn Theme." SASAMI is out today with another unlikely sibling, "Call Me Home." The track begins with a desolate ambient introduction reminiscent of Joy Division before transitioning into a psychedelic folk ballad.
