MasterChef star Gregg Wallace has revealed that he will be hosting a new podcast titled A Piece Of Cake after quitting BBC show Inside The Factory last year.
After seven years, the 59-year-old stepped down the show back in May after telling fans he wanted to spend more time with his family.
Reports later claimed that he had allegedly offended females while working on the show, which he addressed a month later. According to The Times, he said: “I’ve enjoyed doing [Inside the Factory] for a number of years and I’ve done hundreds of factories.

In a previous statement, he revealed he wanted to prioritise his family and other work commitments which had been "a balance".
He added: "As my son Sid’s needs become more challenging, I’ve decided the time has come to hang up my hairnet. We’ve already filmed 12 future episodes so viewers can see me enjoying lots more factories in my hi-viz jacket for a while to come yet."
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Gregg was asked about the real reason he left and he explained: "There was an argument inside the factory, the reporting isn't accurate. There was an issue, I thought that is the perfect time to come out, offending people in the factory, no.
"If you look at the headlines you can't see a story that matches those headlines, but there was an issue, I don't want to discuss what the issue was but I thought that is a good time.
"Mum needs help with Sid at home, running around the country, this may be the time to give something up."
