Weather in Greater Manchester could be changing for the better after a few days of stormy weather and heavy winds across the region.
A senior meteorologist at British Weather Services has already said they believe temperatures could be on the rise this week, with some places receiving highs of around 25C.
While things aren’t expected to get too hot here in Greater Manchester in the next week, we’re certainly looking at some more favourable weather heading our way than what we’ve dealt with recently.

Met Office meteorologist Tom Morgan recently told the M.E.N he is predicting a warm front is on the way with the outlook for the next week looking steady and sunny.
He said: "From Saturday we are set to see temperatures climb and we could see 18 Celsius in Manchester by Sunday.
"The fine and relatively warm weather is set to continue throughout most of next week with temperatures of 18 to 20 Celsius during the days but still rather chilly overnight (lows of 4 to 7 Celsius). It should be generally bright with spells of warm sunshine."
Overall, the Met Office is predicting that weather in Greater Manchester will stay largely settled with some sunny spells and patchy clouds throughout the week. It could be a welcome change from the high winds and rain we’ve experienced in the last few days.
On Monday, we’ll see a bit of light rain to the start of the day but that will quickly change to overcast by late morning. It’s looking like it’ll be overcast for most of the day but temperatures will start to rise slightly in the afternoon with a little glimmer of sun expected at around 6pm.
