The number of coronavirus infections recorded in Greater Manchester on Monday this week was the most the region has seen in a single day for almost eight months, the latest data reveals.
On Monday, June, 28, a total of 2,318 cases were reported across our ten boroughs.
That is the highest number recorded on a single daily since November 3 last year, during the second national wave of the virus.
