Great British Bake Off star explains why contestants are banned from wearing one item in the tent

Paul Hollywood gave out a rare treat on tonight's Celebrity Great British Bake Off. The Wallasey -born chef is known for giving out handshakes to successful bakers on the Channel 4 cooking show. But, tonight, he handed out two in quick succession.

Ellie Golding and actress Tracy-Ann Oberman. The famous faces who appeared on the programme had to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, all for a worthy cause. For the final showstopper challenge they had to make edible portraits of their own celebrity heroes.

Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer is a must watch on TV tonight (Tuesday April 19). Contestents include singer Ellie Goulding, comedian Mawaan Rizwan, actress Tracey-Ann Oberman and TV presenter Sophie Morgan. They will be showcasing their baking skills under the watchful eye of judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith on Channel 4, between 8pm and 9.

While the Little Britain star was making glass window biscuits, judge Paul helped knead some of his dough after coming over to check on him, before the contestant later received a coveted Paul Hollywood handshake during his critique.
