Prices are on the rise everywhere, and it's no different at Aintree Races this year for the eagerly-anticipated Grand National Meeting. The most famous racing event in the world starts this week, so we've taken a look at the prices you can expect to pay for a drink if you're heading along.
And predictably given the soaring rates of inflation, they're all up on last year's drink prices at the event. You're now looking at paying £7.50 for most pints of draught beer or cider.
And if you're planning on popping open some fizz, prosecco starts at £46 a bottle, while champagne is from £78.

The Jockey Club has shared a list of the drinks prices you need to know for the bars at the Grand National Festival for 2022. Drink prices range from £2.50 for a mixer to £7.50 for a pint of Madri and £8.75 for a glass of house wine.
Prices will no doubt vary depending on what your go-to tipple is, but our colleagues at the Liverpool Echo have compiled a list to give an idea about how much you may need to budget for if you're heading down to the course this year.
Prices have risen on almost all drinks from 2022 - for example wine was priced at £8 a glass last year, now it's up to £8.75. Prosecco was £42.50 a bottle, now it's up to £46, while pints were all around the £7.20 mark last year and are now up to £7.50.
Soft drinks have also risen in price from £2.30 for mixers last year to £2.50 this year and cans of pop up from £2.60 to £2.90.
The race meeting starts today with Liverpool Day, before the eagerly-anticipated Ladies Day on Friday. The Grand National itself takes place on Saturday afternoon.
