Grammys have revealed the third slate of performers for its Las Vegas ceremony on 3 April. This year’s 64th annual show, hosted by Trevor Noah, has tapped Silk Sonic duo – Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak – to open the ceremony, followed by newly added artists including Carrie Underwood, John Legend, and J Balvin with Maria Becerra. Maverick City Music, Aymée Nuviola, and Billy Strings will perform in special segments “that showcase Las Vegas and spotlight genres not historically represented on the Grammy Awards telecast”.

Billie Eilish paid touching tribute to late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins during the 2022 Grammy Awards. The “Happier Than Ever” artist attended this year’s ceremony, where the rock band received prizes including Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song. During her performance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Eilish wore a black T-shirt with an image of Hawkins emblazoned across the front.

Grammys 2022 memorialised Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins with a special tribute at the Las Vegas ceremony tonight (April 3).The iconic drummer died on March 25 at the age of 50. He was found in his hotel room in Bogotá, Colombia, hours before the band were were set to headline a festival in the city as part of a South American tour.“This was the moment in the show when I was supposed to be introducing the Foo Fighters,” host Trevor Noah explained during the ceremony.
