Tonight at the 2020 Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish won Record of the Year for her single “bad guy.” She picked up the win over songs by Bon Iver (“Hey, Ma”), Ariana Grande (“7 rings”), Lil Nas X (“Old Town Road (Remix)”), Swae Lee and Post Malone (“Sunflower”), Lizzo (“Truth Hurts”), Khalid (“Talk”), and H.E.R. (“Hard Place”). She’s the youngest artist to ever win Record of the Year. When accepting the award, Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas simply said, “thank you.”

Billie Eilish, a goth-leaning artist whose innovative pop-rock-trap sound has won her legions of fans, beat out four industry heavyweights Sunday to take home the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.

The No. 1 LP on Billboard's 2019 year-end albums chart is also the Grammys' top full length.

Billie Eilish was on an outstanding winning streak at ! The first-time Grammy nominee secured five awards in total, including record of the year, song of the year, best new artist and best pop vocal album. That’s not all. The 18-year-old singer also ended up winning best album of the year award for her album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go, and making the award even more special, the singer made history with her win and became the youngest album of the year winner in Grammy history.

Billie Eilish took home the Best New Artist trophy tonight at the 2020 Grammy Awards. She won over Lil Nas X, Lizzo, ROSALÍA, Maggie Rogers, Tank and the Bangas, Black Pumas, and Yola. In her acceptance speech, Eilish focused on the importance of fans. “Mainly I think the fans deserve everything,” she said. “I feel like they have not been talked a bout enough tonight.” She also addressed the other Best New Artist nominees. “All the other artists that were in this category, I love you all.”

After winning the Grammy Awards for song of the year, best new artist and album of the year, Billie Eilish completed the sweep of the Big Four with the final award of the evening, winning record of the year for “Bad Guy.”

On music's biggest night, only one singer walked away with one of the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards' biggest honors.
