Starring in the brand’s latest show, Charlotte brought home the couture fashion house’s intention to emphasise its versatility by tying together its links to sports, such as golf and horse riding, in the elements of its clothing designs.
“I like sport, and it’s funny to think that the Chanel tailleur is something you can wear for playing golf or riding a horse,” Xavier Veilhan, the artist who worked on the show, told Vogue. In way of showcasing this theme, Charlotte graced the runway with her own eight year old Spanish bay horse, who appeared unfazed and on his best behaviour whilst stepping along the catwalk.
