There’s a promising and even semi-adult comedy at the heart of “Tetris,” an otherwise corny action-adventure based on the real-life story of how the iconic 1980s computer and video game was licensed outside of Russia. Most of the plot of “Tetris” concerns the political maneuvering and corporate espionage required to smuggle “Tetris,” the iconic brick-laying puzzle game, out of Moscow and away from greedy businessmen.The lead protagonist of “Tetris” (the movie) also happens to be its main hero, an uncomplicated leading man whose personal motives don’t matter so much as the vague and never credibly represented virtues of “Tetris” (the game).

Matt Donnelly Senior Film Writer James Gunn is set to direct “Superman: Legacy.” The irreverent filmmaker, who serves as chairman and CEO of DC Studios with partner Peter Safran, revealed on Wednesday that he will helm a previously-announced reboot of the Superman franchise. Gunn also wrote the screenplay, and Safran will produce. “Superman: Legacy” also released its first plot synopsis, saying the film “tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”

All four of Karol’s studio albums have charted on the all-genre Billboard 200, though “Mañana” is the first to enter the top 10 of the list. KISS singer and guitarist Paul Stanley has spoken about the idea of a reunion of KISS’ original line-up, saying it would be more like “PISS”.The US band was formed by Stanley, singer and bassist Gene Simmons, guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss in 1973. Jason Zaro (“Brigsby Bear”) will serve as co-producer across the new slate of films for Hulu. The renewed partnership comes on the heels of the successful release of “It’s a Wonderful Binge” in November 2022, which starred Kaitlin Olson, Danny Trejo, Nick Swardson, Tim Meadows. The movie serves as a sequel to the first Hulu original comedy under the American High banner, “The Binge,” which featured Vince Vaughn, Skyler Gisondo, Eduardo Franco, Dexter Darden.

Diego Calva and Jacob Elordi are set to play lovers in a new film and it seems there are some “pretty hot scenes” coming up, as revealed by the Mexican actor himself. The pair will be starring in Daniel Minahan’s adaptation of ‘On Swift Horses,’ and Diego recently talked to Variety about his experience working with the ‘Euphoria’ star.“It was so cool to work with him.
