Gogglebox star Dave Griffiths has shared his 'upset' over news revealed before the show makes a much-welcome return. Fans have been waiting for months for the Channel 4 show to be back on screens with Friday night (September 8) finally being the night.
But viewers were left gutted to learn that two of their favourite participants won't be returning. Stephen Webb and his husband Daniel Lustig confirmed they would no longer be a part of the hit programme, which sees normal families across the UK casting their off-the-cuff views on the latest TV shows, films and breaking news.
Stephen has been a staple of the show for the last 10 years - since it first began back in 2013. He originally appeared on the programme with his former partner Chris Butland-Steed, who was replaced by Stephen's mum before his now-husband Daniel.

They announced the news on Thursday (September 7) ahead of the new series beginning on Friday (September 8). The married couple took to Instagram to tell their followers about their departure.
The post read: "After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox. We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities. We would both like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show.
"We are also extremely thankful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family as we call them and of course the fans, thank you for all of your love and support over the years."
And their Gogglebox co-stars were among the first to respond to the news. "Aww that’s upset me and Shirley," David wrote from
