Former Gogglebox star Chris Ashby-Steed and his husband Tony have relocated to Wales. Back in January, the couple first announced that they would be moving to South West Wales, by sharing snaps of their home in the south of the stunning country. Chris, 45, wrote: "Introducing you to our new home.
Finally exchanged contracts on our beautiful Victorian home in south-west Wales, it was love at first sight!" The couple, who often share renovation updates on Instagram, had previously been taking care of Tony's mother in their former home in Brighton after she suffered from a stroke. To cater for her needs, the pair had an extension added to their property, made sure everything was wheelchair accessible and had a wet room. However, after Tony's, 52, mother passed way in 2021 from Covid, the pair moved to Wales for fresh a start.

"Then part-way through the year I completely flipped on my head. It's been 16 months since I lost mum and I haven't really grieved and I was so close to her." He added: "I have type 2 bipolar disorder and I've done so much cognitive behavioural therapy that my brain automatically blocks triggers.
"I think that's what's been happening but then I realised staying in that house was toxic because everywhere I went was mum, everywhere in Brighton was mum. It was hard." In February, the couple revealed that they had moved into their new home in Wales by giving followers a guided tour. Chris's caption
