Gogglebox's Mary and Giles delight fans with youthful throwback couple's snap

Gogglebox firm favourites Giles Wood and Mary Killen have sent fans into a spin with throwback pictures of the pair from nearly 40 years ago. Giles took to his Instagram to share the three black and white snaps of the couple back in 1986.The popular TV couple first met at the age of 21. Giles was studying at Wimbledon Art School at the time, while Mary was a model.
Giles can be seen with an almost Hugh Grant look about him in the old snaps, which show him and Mary posing for the camera in the first shot. While, Mary can be seen showing off her signature long straight hair and looks stunning in the picture. You can sign up at the top of the page. Giles also shared a snap of the two cuddling each other as Giles is looking away and smiling while Mary is looking up at her man. In the final black and white throwback snap, Giles can be seen leaning and looking into the distance as Mary smiles at him.The vintage shots appear to be old style negatives with the reel apparent surrounding the shots.
Giles captioned the post: “Throwback shots, Giles and Mary, circa 1986.” Fans rushed to the post to gush over the cute pictures. One wrote: “Wow #powercouple love to you two on Gogglebox” followed by three lapping hands emojis. Another penned: “Mary looks no different." While third shared: “groovy.” One fan thought Mary reminded them of a former Welsh singer, they wrote: “A touch of the Mary Hopkins about Mary!” Followed by a high five emoji.
