Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid was left in hysterics by comedian Rob Beckett who began mocking politician Dominic Raab on Tuesday's show. The London funny man, 36, picked up on the deputy Prime Minister's, 48, hand gesture and suggested he looked as though he was "doing a pancake" and did a hilarious impression of him. As Rob joined Susanna and Richard Madeley on the show via video link, he began: "First of all how do you put up with those politicians every day? Oh my God they do my head in, absolute maggots." Rob then mimed a hand gesture which he attributed to the show's previous guest, Mr Raab.
He continued: "This bit is the worst bit, that little fist. Because they can't point, pointing is too aggressive so it's like he's doing a pancake." Then the comic mocked the Conservative politician's accent, saying: "'I think the big cause...', oh shut up! Boring, Oh my God. "Sorry but I don't know how you cope," Rob continued to mimic the hand gesture and did an impression of Dominic as he said: "'That little thing.
Susanna, if you let me finish.'" Referencing Dominic's hand gesture, he went on: "What you doing? What's that? It's a little thumb point, no one does that." Susanna, 56, joined in and suggested the "thumb point", where politicians point with their thumbs rather than their index fingers, originated from Tony Blair. "It is a new sort of thing, I think it started with Tony Blair that hand movement for emphasis, you're right," the TV presenter said. Rob suggested Susanna and her co-host Richard Madeley, 66, had "stressed" their guest because he "whipped out the flat hand".
