Glastonbury announces Vodafone partnership (and some headliners)

BLACKPINK have announced that Sabrina Carpenter, The Rose and more will join them as support acts for their upcoming appearance at BST Hyde Park this summer.Back in October, it was revealed that BLACKPINK would be making their debut UK festival performance at the 2023 edition of British Summer Time. The announcement means that they will soon become the first K-pop act to headline a major UK festival.Now, four new artists have been added to the line-up – set to support the K-pop band at the event on Sunday, July 2.

Newly-single Alison Hammond beamed as she walked the red carpet at the Burberry British Diversity Awards, where she picked up the Media Champion in the Public Eye award.The TV presenter, 48, was handed the award by Paloma Faith during the prestigious event, which was hosted by TV presenter June Sarpong. Posing on the red carpet before heading into the event Alison was all-smiles as she donned a sparkling black midi dress and a pair of flat back and white shoes, which featured a stylish black bow.

Busted have announced a new UK tour celebrating their 20th anniversary.The pop-punk trio will be playing a series of arena shows across the UK later this year, where they will perform their greatest hits and celebrate over 20 years since their formation.Heading to cities including Brighton, Nottingham, Newcastle and London, all 14 of the lined-up shows will take place throughout September. Starting at Cardiff’s CIA arena, the stint will kick off on September 3, and run until September 24 – ending at Manchester’s AO Arena.Hanson will also feature as a special guest at all gigs from September 9 onwards.

Devo has been announced.Titled Devo, the film will be helmed by American Movie (1999) and Fyre (2019) director Chris Smith.The first-ever fully authorised film about the group, Devo will chart the new wave group’s career, from their formation in the aftermath of the Kent State massacre to their breakout with ‘Whip It’.“Devo was a huge influence on me,” Smith said in a statement. “Their approach to music, film, video, and art was something I had never seen before and was one of the truly formative artistic influences that showed me there were entirely new ways to look at things.”The documentary will feature a mixture of interviews and never-before-seen archival footage.

CRAVITY have announced the dates for the North American leg of their upcoming ‘Masterpiece’ world tour.The Starship Entertainment group will start the North American leg of their world tour at Webster Hall in New York on June 16, before heading to Chicago’s Copernicus Center on June 18. CRAVITY will also play a show in the US territory of Puerto Rico on May 20, before heading back stateside with concerts in Atlanta and Dallas, before wrapping things up in Los Angeles.Aside from the US leg, CRAVITY’s ‘Masterpiece’ world tour will also see the boyband perform two shows each in the Japanese cities of Osaka and Yokohama.

Jungle have been announced as the latest headliners for this year’s All Points East festival in London.The funk and soul/dance duo – comprising Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland – are set to deliver a UK exclusive performance in Victoria Park on Saturday, August 26.Also featured on the line-up for that day are Erykah Badu, Folamour, BADBADNOTGOOD, 070 Shake, Tobe Nwigwe, Charlotte Day Wilson, Lil Silva, Ragz Originale and Pretty Girl. Shania Twain has spoken to NME about her hopes to play the legends’ slot at Glastonbury – revealing that “it’s on my wish list”.The Glastonbury legends’ slot is a prestigious set on the iconic Pyramid stage, where superstars perform on the Sunday afternoon of the festival. Previous legends to fill the slot include Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue and Bee Gees‘ Barry Gibb.

Mumford & Sons have been announced as the final headline act for this summer’s Victorious Festival.The event is due to take place on the Southsea seafront in Portsmouth between August 25-27. Morrissey has announced a pair of outdoor UK headline shows for this summer – find all the details below.The soloist and former Smiths frontman is due to perform at Crystal Palace Park in south London on Sunday, July 9 before heading to Millennium Square in Leeds the following Wednesday (July 12).Morrissey will be joined by special guests The Slow Readers Club in Leeds. Fall Out Boy have announced two intimate UK shows and shared the tracklist for their upcoming new album ‘So Much (For) Stardust’.The band will release their eighth studio album – and first in five years – on March 24, via Fueled By Ramen.Ahead of the record’s arrival, Fall Out Boy will return to the UK for two tiny shows in Manchester and London. The US band will play at Manchester’s Band On The Wall on March 15 and London’s Heaven on March 16.Fans who pre-order the new album from Fall Out Boy’s UK web store before 2pm GMT on March 7 will get exclusive ticket access to the special gigs.

American rock band Fall Out Boy have announced a small, intimate show will take place in Manchester in less than two weeks time.

The iconic British fest, which returns to Somerset’s Worthy Farm from June 21-25, revealed the top acts as part of its poster reveal (pictured below) on Friday morning. Organizers had previously announced their other headliner, Elton John, earlier this year. John’s rare festival act will be the final U.K. show of the singer’s worldwide farewell tour. Arctic Monkeys will hit the Pyramid Stage on Friday night, while Guns N’ Roses will play on Saturday evening.
