For the first time in his decades-long career, Chad Lowe will appear on-screen alongside his brother, Rob Lowe. The 54-year-old will guest star in Monday’s episode of "9-1-1: Lone Star" in which firefighter Capt. Owen Strand [Rob] returns to Los Angeles and is faced with "painful childhood memories." Robert Pine, star of ‘70s cop show "CHiPs" and father of actor Chris Pine, will play their dad.

Emiliano De Pablos After a two-and-a half year hiatus, renowned Spanish producer Manuel Cristobal has returned to toon production, joining the team behind animated feature project “The Glassworker,” directed by Usman Riaz, and created by Pakistan-based Mano Animation Studios. “The Glassworker” marks the first hand-drawn animated feature from Pakistan. Scheduled for a 2023 release, the project is said to be in the running for a berth at this year’s Annecy Work in Progress showcase, a prestige selection which would earn the title considerable international profile. Targeting family audiences, the film is set in a location loosely inspired by Pakistan, telling the story of young Vincent and his father Tomas, who run the finest glass workshop in the country and find their lives upended by an approaching war in which they want no part.  The arrival in their town of an army colonel and his young talented, violinist daughter, Alliz, shakes their reality and tests the relationship between father and son.The love that develops between Vincent and Alliz is challenged constantly by the differing views of their fathers.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has reportedly shared its plans with developers regarding timed game trials for its PlayStation Plus Premium service.As reported by Game Developer, sources told the publication that developers creating games that cost £26.93 ($34) or higher will be required to create time-limited game trials and must be around two hours long. This also amounts to €33 in Europe and ￥4000 in Japan.Games that cost less than this specific amount won’t require a timed trial for the PlayStation Plus Premium service.According to the report, “many developers were informed about the new policy via an update to Sony’s developer portal,” and sources indicated that they had “not received any other communication about this change.”However, this new policy does not apply to upcoming PlayStation VR titles, but developers will have up until three months after their games launch on the PlayStation Store to release their timed trial.Along with a timed game trial, Sony is also open to developers releasing a custom game demo instead, but they would need to be approved “on a case-by-case basis.”Back in March, Sony unveiled its PlayStation Plus rebrand which has three tiers.

The music world continues to mourn the loss of Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, who died at age 50 on March 25.

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith has shared a poignant video paying tribute to his late friend and colleague, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died last month at age 50.The two-minute video comprises a handful of humorous interactions between the pair, interview snippets and performance clips, with the Foo Fighters song ‘My Hero’ laid overtop. It was put together by Daniel Catullo, who in 2017 helmed the PBS series Foo Fighters At The Acropolis, which Smith hosted.Opening the video is a snippet of Smith saying in an old interview: “Taylor’s my good buddy, who I’ve known forever.” It ends with a line from Smith’s speech at the Chili Peppers’ Hollywood Walk Of Fame induction ceremony – which took place on Thursday (March 31) – where he said: “I have to give a shoutout to my brother Taylor Hawkins.
