Geri Horner mocked as epic blunder in Mel B birthday post leaves fans in stitches

Geri Horner sparked amusement on social media when her birthday tribute to fellow Spice Girl Mel B included a huge blunder.
The singer, 51, shared a series of photos on Instagram of herself with her bandmate, real name Melanie Brown, to mark her 49th birthday on 29 May. However, it appeared Geri had instructed her social media manager, Pippa, to share the post.
Before sharing it online, the caption included instructions presumably given by Geri, prompting fans to mock the Spice Girls star. The post initially read: "Sent images to Pippa and this wording.
Asked her to where needed." Followed by a message for Mel, which read: "Happy birthday Mel B. Hope you have an amazing day." The caption was quickly edited, but eagle-eyed fans had already spotted the huge blunder and began to mock Geri in the comments section.
One person joked: "Babe you need to sort your social media manager out." Another said: "Sending much love to Pippa on this day, she might need a wine glass or two." A third person added: "Pippa, I’d tweak it to add a little more sincerity." "Has Pippa been fired? I hope so," somebody else quipped. A fifth Instagram user sarcastically said: "What a lovely genuine heartfelt message from yourself." Many were left "cringing" by the mistake, with one person admitting: "OMG I've never been so embarrassed for someone.
I would simply move countries if I did this." Someone else agreed: "I'd delete my Instagram and that's the very last you'd ever hear of me." Geri and Mel rose to fame in the 1990s as members of the Spice Girls, along with Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Emma Bunton.
