The Only Way Is Essex star Georgia Kousoulou has tearfully broken down in tears as her young son Brody hit a major milestone which showed just how quickly he was growing up. The 32 year old star, who welcomed little Brody back in May 2021, has been documenting her parenting journey on her own ITVBe show, Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps.
However this week, Brody was shown to finally be old enough to attend nursery for the first time, something which left his emotional mum in floods of tears as she lamented: “He's my baby and he's gone." In a first look at the episode, the TOWIE star sobbed while chatting to her mum Mary about how she was feeling about the change in her life, now that her precious little boy had turned two. But as Mary tried to console the overwhelmed star, Georgia quietly dismissed her words of comfort as she gasped: "You'll make me worse.” Seeing her so emotional then prompted Mary herself to get a little teary eyes as she soothed: "No, no, don't, you will start me off,” before stroking her daughter’s arm.
While the reaction may seem a little extreme to some viewers, Georgia later went on to explain how she was suffering from separation anxiety and was feeling extremely nervous about being away from her little one after two years of being by his side constantly. “I am used to him being with me 24/7 and now I'm just like: 'oh, I haven't got a baby, now he has gone,'” sobbed Georgia.
Mary then sympathised as she validated her daughter’s emotion by adding: "That's your little role, innit?” Prompting Georgia to reply: "Yeah, because you're mum for two and a half years, which is really weird transitioning into a mum, and now I'm me again. It's such a weird thing, no one talks about how weird this is." Brody
