Some elements of the service have been especially chosen by the Queen, who has also managed to attend despite weeks of uncertainty. “The Queen has also been actively involved in the plans for today’s Service of Thanksgiving, with many elements reflecting Her Majesty’s wishes,” a spokesman said.
