A popular cast member is returning to General Hospital!
While attending the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards earlier this month, an executive producer for the long-running soap opera teased that a male “former cast member is coming back… that the audience will go crazy for.”
On Monday (June 24), General Hospital officially confirmed which former cast member will be returning to the show this summer.

It has been reported that Bryan will be appearing in one episode in early August.
As of right now, the context behind Morgan’s return is being kept under wraps. As fans recall, Bryan played Morgan, the son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), for four years before his exit from the show in 2016 when Morgan was (presumably) killed in a car bomb. He briefly returned in 2018 when he appeared in a vision to Ava Jerome (Maura West).
For his role as Morgan, Bryan won two Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.
