Michael Owen enjoyed a successful career as a professional footballer, having played for teams such as Liverpool and making the England squad. The 42 year old is now a BT Sport pundit and a racing horse owner, having hung up his football boots back in 2013. His eldest daughter Gemma now looks set to also find fame, with the 19 year old having recently entered the Love Island villa in search of love.
While many are familiar with Gemma's famous dad, her mum Louise on the other hand, tends to keep a more low profile and usually shuns the spotlight. The pair originally planned to tie the knot at their home but after being made aware of different rules and regulations they decided to exchange vows in an informal ceremony at a register office.
Michael and Louise then threw a lavish reception at their home to celebrate their marriage among their family and friends, which took place in June 2005. Their first child Gemma Rose was born in 2003, followed by their first son James Michael in 2006. Louise gave birth to her and Michael's second daughter Emily May in October 2007, and their fourth child Jessica was born in February 2010.
